    Here on the mainland the ukulele is generally considered rather silly, but it does produce some pretty sounds.

    Thanks for something I never would have heard otherwise.

    Even in the states' mainland, Jake Shimabukuro is well-known in some circles. There are lots of clips of him in the You-Tube files. And he's really done a lot for the silly little guitar!

    I still love the video of his visit to Saipan and his workshops with some of our students. He is a cool guy.
