Good concession speech.. but listening to the disgusting RNC robocall that went out enmasse to Florida voters only 2 hours before their polls closed would have tempered any sadness for McCain.

I missed the robocall.

I find the booing and hissing by the audience disturbing. I'm not sure why, but it sounds sinister to me...

Here's the complete text in English. It was in Spanish, targeted at Cuban voters. It was voiced by a woman with frantic urgency in her voice. CNN ran a tape of the call about an hour or so before McCain's concession speech. Boohoo McCain.. grab Palin and fade away into obscurity I say.

"This just in! I’m calling on behalf of John McCain to tell you that at 1:28 PM today, the independent news agency Reuters reported that Cuban Dictator Fidel Castro, endorsed Democrat Barack Obama as QUOTE "more intelligent AND CULTURED" than John McCain, the same as Huge Chavez, Daniel Ortega and Eva Morales. The Castro brothers prefer Barack Obama. Don’t give Castro what he wants. Get to the polls now to vote for John McCain and stop Cuban-like policies in America. There are still a few hours left to vote today for John McCain. This call was paid for by McCain-Palin 2008."

Unbelievable, Lil! Really, that is just such a desperate and stupid ploy. McCain mistake # ???

I guess the Latino voters didn't buy it, though, as Florida went for Obama.

Guess I'll have to learn how to spell Obama's first name, too.

To be fair, it was from the RNC, not McCain.

It's hard to put the genie back in the bottle when you play the hate card. (How's that for a mixed metaphor?)
