36. On the Road in Saipan

Thought you might enjoy this photo from Aya--what you might see on the road here.

And if you are living in Saipan and haven't experienced this, you're not getting out enough. If you're not here, well, have a laugh on us.

Ha ha ha. Too funny I should scan a photo I have from the 2004 XTERRA Saipan Championship (back in my film camera days) where mountain bikers had to maneuver around a bull on the road heading up to wireless ridge.

In Hawaii I had a similar experience with a huge boar. He was taller than the bumper on my pickup truck!

I don't know much about Saipan other than the stupid wage & hour laws, but it looks like it could be a nice place to visit!

Almost hit a cow like this one on the curve between Esco's and the fire station one night. The guys on duty gave me a 'so what's the problem?' look.

I've been in a car that hit a deer. They don't bounce well.

In Maine, we have moose. They are 800-1200 pounds, like a cow on stilts. You tend to regret hitting them, too!
